The book "The Little Witness of the Great Offensive", written by director, screenwriter, producer, actor and author Turgut Yasalar in memory of the 100th anniversary of the Great Victory, will definitely attract your attention.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 1975 and 1985, Turgut Yasalar worked as a translator, reporter, and editor at G\u00fcnayd\u0131n, Politika, Milliyet, D\u00fcnya newspapers, and the \u0130STA News Agency. In the latter half of the 1980s, he worked as a writer and manager in the advertising industry, producing commercials and promotional films. Yasalar, founder of the Film Critics Association, won the "Best Screenplay" award at the Antalya Film Festival for his screenplay for the 1998 film "Leopar\u0131n Tail" (Leopar\u0131n Tail). He went on to direct numerous films and television series, including "\u00c7\u0131lg\u0131n Bedi\u015f."<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yasalar tells the story of Ali \u015eamil, who witnessed significant events between 1916 and 1922. Ali \u015eamil's life was surrounded by astonishing events, from Enver Pasha to his friendship with Sultan Vahdettin's son-in-law \u0130smail Hakk\u0131 Bey, to his meeting with Mustafa Kemal Pasha. Turgut Yasalar sheds light on history with this book. Those exciting days are brought to life again through the memories of Ali \u015eamil, who witnessed the collapse of the Ottoman Empire from the palace and the birth of T\u00fcrkiye from the front lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
