A New Breath to the Sector

Sakarya holds a significant place in ornamental plant cultivation in Türkiye. The Sakarya Landscape and Ornamental Plants Festival will take place for the first time on the Sapanca/Kırkpınar Coast from September 26-29. The festival area has been designated as 40,000 m2 of open air. Festival activities are carried out with the initiatives of the Sakarya Province Ornamental Plants Breeding Association, the SS Sapanca District Central and Kırkpınar Town Agricultural Development Cooperative, the SS Arifiye District Ornamental Plants Development Cooperative, and the support and cooperation of the Sakarya Governorate, the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, the Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Sapanca District Governorate and Sapanca Municipality, the Arifiye District Governorate, and the Arifiye Municipality. Approximately 150 participants are expected at the festival. The festival grounds have been designed with workshop areas, conference and meeting halls, and seminar areas, providing maximum convenience for both exhibitors and visitors. Shuttle services within the festival area promise to provide convenient transportation within the area.
