Treeless parks and climate

Whether there's a climate crisis or not isn't a debate; everyone agrees we're heading towards an apocalypse. That's why the effects of the crisis on cities are becoming increasingly devastating, whether in winter or summer.

Is there any need to wonder where it is? No. We can see this view everywhere in the country. It's a good thing that the roadside space, which likely can't be built on for technical reasons, is preserved as green space, even in this state. But we know that mayors or other municipal officials close to them decide what parks and green spaces will be like and what will be built there. However, municipalities employ people trained in this field. They can ask them. If they're insufficient, they can seek advice from other experts. They don't. Even if they do, they just focus on their own path. However, in this case, it seems that opinions and suggestions were taken. A pool and seating areas were even installed. So, clearly, a landscaping project was undertaken. However, they thought carefully about how people could breathe in the Mediterranean heat, where they could find some respite, and so they added a pergola with benches for shade. Of course, that's something. Can there be green space or a park without construction? No. They built a large pool. But that's a minor detail... They forgot to plant trees. Or rather, they said, "There's no need for trees; we've already built the park." We could cite many examples, some better, some worse. Our goal is to emphasize that if a park is being built, more trees must be planted.

For some reason, decision makers in municipalities cannot build parks without construction.

One way to immediately reduce the effects of the climate crisis on cities is to reforest them within a planned framework.

Because whether or not the climate crisis exists is no longer a matter of debate. The entire world agrees that we're heading towards an apocalypse. Therefore, the impacts of the crisis on cities are becoming increasingly devastating, whether winter or summer. One way to immediately mitigate the impact of the climate crisis on cities is to reforest cities within a planned framework. Because mature trees can cool a city by 2 to 8 degrees Celsius as they breathe. So, how should we proceed? Can rules for afforestation be established in cities? Can experts, residents, and civil society organizations come together to determine these rules?
