The economic crisis has strained export channels, and the sector's exports continue to grow. 2021 exports reached $147.634 million, with outdoor ornamental plants accounting for 73%, cut flowers 23%, indoor ornamental plants 3%, and flower bulbs 1%. The ornamental plants sector generates approximately 80,000 direct and 500,000 indirect jobs, with a production value of $1 billion across 55,000 decares of land. The association's general assembly will be held at the Balgat General Secretariat Building in Ankara.
