Remarkable meeting of cities 

The 60th IFLA World Congress, held at the Istanbul Congress Center from September 4-6, 2024, with the theme "Code Red for the World," was successfully completed. The most important event for landscape architecture, the environment, and nature in our country and worldwide.

Meanwhile, the session titled "Green Space Strategies and Water Management in Different Climatic Zones of Türkiye: Blue-Green Infrastructure Models" held during the congress was moderated by Dr. Ahmet Cemil Tepe, Deputy Director of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department. Attendees included Prof. Dr. Tuğba Ölmez Hancı, Head of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department; Müge Deniz Bal, Head of the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department; Çiğdem Hacıoğlu, Head of the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Parks and Gardens Department; A.
