Two Dutch giants signal merger
Dümmen Orange and Beekenkamp, based in the Netherlands and well-known to Turkish manufacturers, have set out to join forces.
Dümmen Orange offers cut flowers, potted plants and perennial plants to growers and wholesalers worldwide. The varieties it develops are followed closely by producers. Beekenkamp works on vegetables, potted ornamental plants, seedling packaging and chrysanthemums. Ornamental plant producers in Türkiye follow these two organizations closely due to their profession.
Success in economies of scale
According to a statement from Dümmen Orange, the Beekenkamp Group and Dümmen Orange are in talks to establish a closer partnership in the areas of marketing, sales, R&D and production. To this end, Dümmen Orange CEO Anthony Christiaanse and Beekenkamp CEO An Beekenkamp have issued a joint letter of intent for this collaboration. According to Dümmen Orange, this collaboration has the potential to deepen, economies of scale* aims for success and will proceed through greater cooperation and sharing of expertise for long-term goals.
