Italy, the land of art, is calling you!

The technique of miniaturizing a tree to create a representation of nature in a small pot dates back to the sixth century in ancient China. Master of plant miniaturization Naoki Maeoka will be in Genoa in April as a guest of the 13th International Flower and Plant Exhibition from April 24 to May 4.

Master Maeoka will lead workshops and demonstrations at the Tamerice Arena (Jean Nouvel Pavilion, first floor) from April 26-29 (14:30–18:30). Then, from April 30 to May 4, instructors from the National Bonsai Art School will continue the demonstrations by interacting with the participants. A simultaneous exhibition of Italian bonsai and monumental examples from the Swiss collection will also be held.

Euroflora 2025 will present a magnificent display of beauty and sustainable practices, showcasing 152 global gardens on 85,000 square metres of indoor and outdoor exhibition space with a magnificent sea view. This 13th edition of the show, organised by Porto Antico di Genova, is considered the only event in Italy recognised by the International Association of Garden Producers AIPH. Meanwhile, during Euroflora, on the weekends of 26-27 April and 3-4 May, the Rolli Days will take place. The doors of the aristocratic palaces and the richest noble churches of the city will be opened. For this and all other information, www.visitgenoa.it. / www.euroflora.genova.it
