A trade event where the most innovative plant breeders in the potted plant industry present their new products. With over 5,000 visitors from over 80 countries this year, FlowerTrials came together to discover the latest plant innovations and exchange ideas with colleagues from all over the world. 56 breeders and breeders exhibited their products at 27 indoor and outdoor locations geographically spread across the Netherlands and Germany.

Let's get to know Fleuroselect and FlowerTrials

Fleuroselect is the international organisation of the ornamental plant industry and for over 50 years has been an organisation that brings together industry professionals to evaluate new potted plants, promote award winners, preserve the varieties they have developed, strengthen their connections with each other and contribute to the development and progress of the industry.

Fleuroselect partners include around 75 potted plant breeders, producers and distributors. Most are from Europe, but there are also members from Japan, the US, China and Thailand. The organization is structured into production and distribution, landscape gardening and plant protection segments, each of which meets specific needs in the industry.

A board of elected members of Fleuroselect is supported by various expert committees. The secretariat of the organization is located at the organization's headquarters in Voorhout, the Netherlands. The organization is financed by membership contributions, trial and new product protection fees, and royalties from endorsements of award-winning varieties, such as legal control of illegally propagated cuttings, market research and organization of sales of seedlings and cuttings, and conferences.
