Henrik Bos is the President of the ELCA again …

The ELCA Board of Directors has re-appointed Henrik Bos as President for a third term. Henrik will remain President until spring 2028. The ELCA Board of Directors held its spring meeting in Tallinn (Estonia) on 29 May 2025. Henrik Bos thanked the Board of Directors for their trust and expressed his great excitement for the upcoming activities. According to Henrik, the ELCA has changed radically over the past few years. “Our association has become very active in the political lobby of the European institutions in Brussels and is now seen as a respected stakeholder on many issues,” said Boss. The next meeting of the Board of Directors will take place on 9 October 2025 in Tampere (Finland).

The European Landscape Contractors Association (ELCA) is an organization of landscape and gardening companies from across Europe. Representing members from 23 associations from Canada, Singapore and the United Kingdom, ELCA has added Japan and Türkiye to its global network. Türkiye is represented on ELCA by Yasin Otuzoğlu, Founding Partner of Karaoğlu Peyzaj. ELCA conducts political lobbying activities to promote legislation and regulation for landscape and garden professionals in Europe and internationally. ELCA promotes the sector by emphasizing green and nature-based solutions to improve climate resilience, biodiversity and public health. ELCA established the SoGreen Alliance, a collaboration of European organizations to advocate for green solutions in public debates for urban greening. The ELCA’s priority is education and knowledge sharing. Industry professionals can connect and exchange ideas through the Companies Committee. ELCA also runs a European exchange program that offers students and employees the chance to gain hands-on experience and develop specialized skills in member countries.
