Queen palm from Antalya

The Arecastrum romanzoffianum (Queen palm) palm, previously imported and used in landscaping, is very easy to find in Türkiye, particularly because it's widely cultivated in the Antalya region. Its smooth trunk, evergreen foliage, and overall aesthetic appeal make it an exotic sight.

Arecastrum romanzoffianum (Queen palm-Cocos) It adapts to the climatic conditions of the Mediterranean Region, the Aegean, Marmara, Black Sea coastline and the Southeastern Anatolia Region. With its fibrous trunk structure, it can withstand temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius. In the regions where it is grown, it can be uprooted and potted during these months, while in the inland areas of the coastline, uprooting can be done from April to September.
