This year's 13th edition, supported by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), is attracting international attention. The fair takes place in Genoa's historic venues, which meet the sea. The opening speech, held in Piazzale Kennedy-Arena Leccio, part of the redesigned Levante Waterfront, was delivered by Mauro Ferrando, President of Porto Antico di Genova Spa. Also speaking were Maurizio Caviglia, Secretary General of the Genoa Chamber of Commerce; Alessandro Piana, Regional Vice President and Councilor of Agriculture and Horticulture; Pietro Piciocchi, Interim Mayor; Marco Bucci, Regional President of Liguria; and Leonardo Capitanio, President of AIPH. AIPH's Italian President, Leonardo Capitanio, expressed his particular pride in participating in Euroflora, highlighting the Italian industry's achievements. He said, "Participation in such events is proof of the international value of Italian nursery owners. Today, Italy holds a place of honor in the international arena of our industry, because the entire Italian nursery association is unique in the world."
Throughout the fair, which set out with the slogan "Nature makes room for itself," it is possible to see examples of innovative landscape design focused on sustainability and green tourism in 154 gardens designed by more than 400 producers.
